When i try to log in I get this message “The User Profile Service failed the logon. User profile cannot be loaded.” I can't do a system restore because it doesn't recognize my password or says it's a bad password. I need someone to tell me how to fix this problem for the administrators profile and the fact thatmy password isn't recognized to make changes. Please someone tell me you can help. I'm very frustrated and have tried everything.

The same has just happened to me. I am running Windows 7 with Service pack 1 beta. I can't access my one and only account with administrative priveledges. I am using a second account that is a standard user only. Looks like I will have to reinstall Windows 7 from scratch. I was able to select a repair option when booting from the Windows 7 DVD and selecting an earlier restore point has fixed my problem.
